Mug Rugs and Hot Pads

I've been taking advantage of some quiet time during the Christmas season to upcycle some more of the great wool blankets I've been collecting.  I especially love the rich charcoal gray and black in this particular piece of wool. These hot pads and mug rugs (coasters) are all double-layered, machine sewn, and finished off with a black wool blanket stitch.
