Rug Hooked Hot Pads
Having experienced such glorious warm weather lately, I hesitate to say that I've been busy getting ready for two upcoming Christmas shows. The 9th Annual Artisan Show & Sale, in support of Jamaican Self-Help, will be held November 21 (10am-4pm) and November 22 (11am - 4pm) at Mark St. United Church in Peterborough. Christmas at the Marshland Centre in Lakefield celebrates its 10th year on November 28 and 29 (10am - 4pm), with donations at the door to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) and the Lakefield Food Bank.
Here are a few small hooked pieces I've just completed - they're colourful, functional, and a great price point at just $35 each. Each hot pad is hooked with wool on burlap, and measures approximately 8" in diameter.
