Hooked Rug

A new offering! This rug was hooked in wool on burlap. Measuring 35 1/2" x 24", the piece features a design in deep rich jewel tones on a neutral background with charcoal border. If you live in the Peterborough/Kawartha area, I'd be more than happy to arrange a home visit to ensure the piece would work well in your home. ($300 plus postage if applicable)

Hooked Rug

The colours in this rug are a real departure from my usual palate of neutrals and reds, and I'm really happy with the result!  My friend Marg, an interior designer, taught me that every room needs a touch of black.

I had fun photographing the rug at my friend Brenda Mahaffey's antique shop - East of Eden - www.facebook.com/pages/East-of-Eden-Antiques/
