Fibre Arts Festival
The Peterborough Handweavers and Spinners Guild and the Kniterary Society present the Third Annual Fibre Arts Festival, Saturday March 23, 2013, 10am - 4pm.
Fibre artists and vendors from Peterborough County will be gathering in the lower level of the Peterborough Public Library at 345 Aylmer Street.
Open to the public, admission is only $2 (which includes entry for door prizes). Children under 10 are free.
Demonstrations and displays will be presented by local guilds and fibre artists - basketry, Victorian bead knitting, bobbin lace, cording, crocheting, embroidery, felting, fibre dyeing, knitting, millinery, paper making, quilting, rug hooking, spinning, tapestry, tatting, weaving and much more.
Coral Door Studio (that's me!) will have a booth where I'll have my finished rug hooked and needle felted pieces available for sale.
