These two new little paintings reminded me of fireflies in the garden.  They're tiny canvases - measuring just 6" x 6".  Acrylic on board; $50 each.

Rag Rug

Here's a lively summer colour combo!  Hot pinks, bright red, and soft pastels make this round rag rug perfect for sunroom, bedroom, bathroom... Delicate pinks

Delicate springtime floral paintings.  Pretty pinks would look lovely in bathroom or "boudoir".  Sold as singles; but would look lovely as a pair.  Each is 8" x 8"; on wood panel - all ready to hang.  $75 each

Plush and extremely heavy-weight, this rag rug is made of strips of flannel in  shades of green and dark blues.  Great for any high-traffic area and so soft underfoot.  Measures 45" x 26"; $100.  Delivery in Peterborough/Kawartha area, or curbside pick-up at my Lakefield studio.  Not sure if will work or not?  I'm always happy to have customers come by to check out pieces before purchase.

Rag rugs in muted tones

RED!!

Both of these vivid red rag rugs were made using the locker hook technique.  It's a technique very similar to traditional rug hooking, but the loops are literally locked into place by a thread that runs through every row of loops.  They are extremely hardy and heavy-weight rugs, easy to maintain, great for both low and high traffic areas. ( FYI: the second rug, in red and pops of lime, was photographed at the very fabulous East of Eden Antiques in Woodview, Ontario)
