Hit or miss rag rug

 Rich plums and yellows contrast with various shades of soft blues and greens ... hit or miss rag rugs are a great way to use up strips of colours from previous projects.    No matter what the combos, they always seem to work!  This circular rug measures 30" in diameter - perfect size for a small bathroom or kitchen, or in front of an easy chair to add a bit of colour to a room.  $100.

Hit or Miss Rag Rug

 One of my all-time favorite styles of rag rug is "hit or miss" which, as was the tradition, was a great way to use up scraps from other projects.  There's actually nothing "hit or miss' about this design however, as it's also important to create a well-balanced flow of colours.  This is a close-up of my latest - and by far one of my largest. A colourful combo of primarily yellows, reds, blues - it measures 50" x 36"; $250.  Nothing goes to waste..... and teabags provide a perfect canvas for tiny images on cards and gift  tags.  Handy to have on hand - the tags are extra large (approx. 4" square) to provide ample room for greetings.  Cards and tags $4.50 each.

Red rag rug

Just finished - cheery reds, tempered with soft russets and light coral. Ideal for kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, den, in front of fireplace..... and would fill a small room beautifully.  As always, rugs are extremely durable and easy to care for.  This is one of the larger rugs I've made recently, measuring  36|" (3 feet) in diameter.   $130.
